Slow Cooked Chicken Tacos

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 2 C Salsa of your liking
  • 12 ounce chicken broth
  • 1 Tbs cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 1 small onion diced
  • cilantro and lime wedges for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the salsa, chicken broth, cumin, salt and pepper in a slow cooker and mix well. Add the chicken breast and coat in sauce.
  2. Heat on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  3. Remove chicken from slow cooker and using two forks shred the chicken and place it back in the sauce.
  4. Warm the tortillas wrapped in foil on low heat in the oven.
  5. Serve tacos topped with diced onions, cilantro and a squeeze of lime juice
  6. Enjoy!
