Fruit Crumble

For the filling:

For the crumble topping:

all-purpose flour

brown sugar

instant oatmeal
any flavor you choose

teaspoon
salt

tablespoons
(4 ounceunsalted butter
melted

Heat oven to 375°F.

Prepare the fruit filling: In a large bowl combine fruit, sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch

Pour the fruit filling into the baking dish.

Prepare the crumble topping: Using a fork combine the dry ingredients. Add butter and mix until a thick paste forms.

Using a spoon scatter the crumble over the fruit until it is evenly covered.

Bake the crumble for 30 to 35 minutes until the fruit juices are bubbling around the edges of the pan and the topping is firm to the touch.

Allow the crumble to cool for 15-30 minutes.

Serve warm and enjoy!
You can add nuts to the topping for an added crunch and nutrient boost.
This is great served with ice-cream!
