When you need a quick dinner, shrimp can be a go to source of protein and selenium, choline, and vitamin B12. These shrimp are great with rice or a salad!

Sweet Garlic Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp ginger fresh grated
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsps honey
  • 2 tbsps soy sauce
  • 1 lb deveined shrimp peeled

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together ginger, garlic, honey and soy sauce. Add shrimp and let marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes – 1 hour before cooking.
  2. Remove shrimp from marinade and sauté in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, about 1 minute per side.
  3. Add remaining marinade and bring to a strong simmer. Let cook for an additional minute. Remove from heat.
