This dinner will wow even the pickiest of little eaters and grown up palettes. Plus it only takes 30 minutes and takes two pans, easy all the way around.
Bacon Apple Chicken

Total Time 30 minutes
Ingredients
- 4 Chicken breasts boneless & skinless
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2-3 slices of bacon cut into medium pieces
- 1/2 medium onion diced
- 3/4 C apple cider or apple juice
- 1/2 C Chicken broth
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400° F

In a large skillet cook the bacon until crisp. Remove the bacon from the pan and set aside.

Add onions to the skillet and cook until tender. Remove from the pan and set aside with the bacon.

In the same pan on medium high heat cook the chicken just to brown it on both sides, About 2 minutes per side.

Place the chicken, bacon, and onions into a baking dish, cover and bake for 15-20 minutes until the chicken reads 160° F

In the same skillet add the chicken broth and apple cider, scraping the pan to release any browned bits stuck to the bottom. Cook over medium heat for 5-10 minutes stirring frequently until the sauce is reduced and slightly thickened, it should be at a low boil while it cooks.

Plate the chicken with some onions, bacon and cover with sauce.
